i started 2 get in2 car racing when i was really tiny.... apparently so my mum said that my 1st Bathurst.... was my 1st Bathurst... i was i think laying there with my big brother watching it then as the year's went on i used 2 follow a racer who my big brother followed...... Peter Brock.... and my mum used 2 follow Dick Johnson, But then my big brother got married... and then i sorta used to keep on watching the racing..... (sort of) but then i went more or less totally off it, then on that day friday afternoon on the 8th september 2006 i got a txt from my big brother... "Peter Brock, killed 2day in a car crash in Perth" my mum was having an afternoon nap.... and i woke her and i asked her who Peter Brock was????? and i read the txt out 2 her..... she was slightly peeved off that i interuppted her arvo nap but then she woke up more and then she kept on talking about thing's about peter brock, @ that time i didn't remember who the heck Peter Brock was..... untill about 1 to 2 or 3 hour's later i kept on asking her who Peter Brock was..... and then she was saying "remember when you used to watch brocky race???" couldn't remember.... but then she eventually said... "the one who does those bridgestone adds" (and then it clicked) and so yeahh i knew those adds very well because alot of them were really funny..... he'd try to hit the cartoon green thingy with a tyre but he kept on missing
and strangely enough not long after Brocky got killed.. in the Targa West Car Rally here in Perth..... i started watching Bathurst again..... didn't have an idea who the driver's were.... let alone what type of ledgends they were and i watched most of that year's Bathurst... then symmons plains.... then Phillip Island.... and then the very next year i was hooked line and sinker lol with the racing..... my 1st rally meeting (that i can remember) was the Targa West Rally 7th sep 2007 and then my very very 1st V8Supercars race meeting was @ Barbagallo Raceway on the 9th may 2008 and i got 2 meet a few driver's.... i even got 2 meet Dick Johnson "The Ledgend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" and well yeahh :)
when i can i will most def post pic's of the racing and rally's on here i will do that for sure :)
